Vocals!

Vocals! courses are weekend singing events for children of primary school age. They regularly attract up to 250 singers.

Our Vocals events allow singers to experience the thrill of singing as part of a mass choir and also provide the opportunity to be an integral part of a smaller choir. The smaller choirs are divided into three age-groups:

Vocals 1 - school years 1 & 2
Vocals 2 - school years 3 & 4
Vocals 3 - school years 5 - 7

There are no auditions. The children are carefully supervised and conducted by specialist leaders Alison Bennett, Helen Hayes and Jane McDouall who have a fun approach to singing and give everyone the chance to perform a variety of music in a friendly and secure atmosphere.

Copies of the music and a rehearsal CD are sent to you before hand so that you can begin practising in your own time. 

"My little boy really enjoyed the course... It was the first thing like this that he has ever done and I was a bit nervous at leaving him, but I felt very reassured by how well organised everything was. He really did have a great time. He's still talking about it now!"
